Review Policy

General

I accept Middle Grade and Young Adult books. I review each book I read so if you send me a book I will do an honest review for the book. If you plan to send me a book for review please check through my archives to make sure I haven't already review the book. If the book is part of a series and is not the first book in the series than I may request the rest of the series as well. If you would like to send me anything please first contact me at bibliophilebel@gmail.com

What I Accept 

I am accepting ARCs, finished copies, graphic novels, and indie press books.

I am not accepting ebooks, audio books, self published books, comic books, or interactive media books. 

I will accept ARCs, finished copies, graphic novels, and indie press books (in no particular order) in the following genres:

Fiction 

• Action/Adventure
• Historical Fiction
• Classics
• Paranormal
• Contemporary (includes "issues" books and LGBTQ books)
• Fantasy 
• Mystery
• Fairytale Retellings 
• Dystopian

I will not accept ARCs, finished copies, graphic novels, and indie press books (in no particular order) in the following genres:

Fiction

• Poetry
• Horror
• Fan Fiction 
• Very Religious Books

Non-Fiction

• I am currently not accepting any non-fiction books

Reviews 

If I accept your book I will read and review it. I will do my best to read the book promptly (If an ARC I will do my best to read it and get a review up before the release date) however please expect 2-3 months between when I get the book and when I am able to post the review. If my review will take longer than that I will try and contact you. 

Please Also Note: All of my reviews are completely honest and true to my opinion, so that means all of my reviews may not be positive. 

Ratings 

I rate my reviews on a scale of 1-100. That sounds like a big scale but its really not that large. I grade almost as if I were giving them a letter grade. For example if I really enjoy a book I may give it a say 97, if I felt a book was eh ok than I would give it around a 65, and if I really dislike a book I will give it about 38 (note-these are examples).
